“tanztheater compagnie annesophie fenner is an independent dance company based in Zürich, Switzerland and was founded in 2006. Like all independent companies in Switzerland, tanztheater annesophie fenner works project based. About every two years the company manages to organize enough funding to start working on a new project. Dancers, actors and musicians are chosen for every new project.
Throughout the years the company has established a wide international network of professional dancers who love to come back on a regular basis to work with the choreographer.
The production phase is usually 9-12 weeks. The premiere and a series of shows in the ‘Theater Rigiblick’ in Zürich are followed by a tour in independent theatres in several cities in Switzerland.
